How Bad Could It Have Been?

Sorry for the lack of new posts — Mom has been here, Mimosa is graduating, much going on!!

And this will be a short post, too — sorry. I had planned to sub in grade 4 today, but when I got there, the teacher (sitting at her desk, blinking at me in surprise) said, "Ohhhh, right — I meant to cancel that." So now a surprise free day stretches before me, and I decided that the thing that would make me feel happiest and most productive was to eradicate the giant "to do" pile on my dining room table.

And one item in that pile is the DVD of Sisters starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, which Brunie purchased for our big movie weekend and then planned to leave in the hotel trash bin — that is how much we disliked it.

But one person's trash is another person's treasure, that's my motto (as witnessed by the very nice fruit-and-butter cake I just made, using up all the soft grapes that no one would eat). Would you like this DVD for your personal collection – or to watch once and decide if our judgment was in any way faulty? Just leave a comment expressing your interest. If more than one person wants it, I'll do a drawing.

You have one week to claim this dubious gem! Don't let it slip away!

And I will write a real post soon. Probably. For sure. Highly likely.

Back to pile eradication!

love to all,

Lady C

p.s. By the way, I am loving my deep water class! I missed three due to Mom's visit but returned on Tuesday — and either I got very out of shape in a week and a half, or our teacher worked us harder than ever, because my core was whimpering like a kindergartner whose mother is late to pick-up. OW  OWIE OW, in other words. But it was good.

  1. Can I claim Amy Poehler and forgo the DVD? I cannot believe that you brought up that one and only time. It is Ancient history. And, Ryan did NOT whimper when I forgot to pick him from Kindergarten.

    1. That's why he didn't go to MIT.

I can't believe you don't want this fine DVD. FINE! To the church rummage sale pile it goes. Your Hollywood wife Amy Poehler would be so disappointed. Tsk.
